Roswell Six está formada por el tecladista y compositor Erik Norlander (Rocket Scientists), la cantante Lana Lane y el bajista Kurt Barabas (Under The Sun), James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Michael Sadler (ex-Saga) y John Payne (Asia), David Ragsdale (Kansas), Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery), Chris Quirarte (Prymary), Mike Alvarez (cello) y Chris Brown (Ghost Circus). Este disco está basado en la última novela del escritor Kevin J. Anderson, "Terra Incognita: Edge of the World", novela épica donde fluyen el amor, la fe y la venganza.

"Terra Incognita: Beyond The Horizon" es el primer disco de la banda, antecesor de "Terra Incognita: A Line In The Sand", editado en 2010.
